Business Done
With Conscience

At Paramount Home Collections, doing good business and doing the right thing are the same thing. Our social compliance framework protects our people, our community and our partners — and is independently verified by international certification bodies.

What We Stand
For

CSR for us is not a compliance checkbox. It is built into how we recruit, how we pay, how we build our factories and how we treat our community. These are the pillars we are held to — by our certifications, our buyers and our own values.

01
Fair Wages & Worker Rights

All 500+ artisans at Paramount are paid at or above minimum wage, with regular salary reviews. No forced overtime. Workers have the right to join associations and raise grievances without fear.

02
Safe Working Conditions

OSHAS 18001 certified. All five plants are regularly audited for safety — fire exits, PPE, machine guards, chemical storage and medical facilities. Zero tolerance for conditions that endanger workers.

03
Zero Child Labour

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy on child labour across all our facilities and our supplier base. Age verification is conducted at recruitment. Our SA8000 certification independently audits this.

04
Transparent Supply Chain

SEDEX and BSCI membership means our supply chain data is openly available to our buyers on verified platforms. Nothing is hidden. Buyers can request audit reports at any time.

05
Community Investment

As one of Moradabad's major employers, we invest in local artisan training programmes — ensuring traditional metalworking skills are passed to the next generation and livelihoods remain in the community.

06
Anti-Discrimination Policy

Hiring, promotion and remuneration decisions at Paramount are based solely on merit and role requirements. No discrimination on grounds of religion, caste, gender or origin is permitted or tolerated.

Independently Verified,
Every Year

Every certification we hold is audited by an independent third party on a regular cycle. These are not self-declarations — they are verified assessments of our actual practices.

BSCI
Social Compliance
Business Social Compliance Initiative

BSCI is the standard most major European retailers require from their supplier base. It covers labour rights, health and safety, environmental protection and ethical business conduct — independently audited against a unified code of conduct.

Why it matters to buyers
Required by most EU supermarkets & department stores
Reduces buyer's own audit burden
Annual audit cycle — always current
SA8000
Worker Rights
Social Accountability International Standard

SA8000 is the world's most rigorous social certification for manufacturing facilities. It covers child labour, forced labour, discrimination, working hours, wages, freedom of association and management systems. Certification requires on-site audit and ongoing monitoring.

Why it matters to buyers
Highest standard for worker rights globally
Accepted by Fair Trade & ethical sourcing programmes
Covers entire management system, not just outputs
SEDEX
Supply Chain Transparency
Supplier Ethical Data Exchange

SEDEX membership gives buyers direct, verified access to our labour, health, safety and environmental data via the SEDEX platform — without needing to conduct their own audit. Over 75,000 businesses globally use SEDEX to manage supply chain risk.

Why it matters to buyers
Buyer can view our data directly on SEDEX
Reduces due diligence cost & time
Accepted by M&S, Tesco, Carrefour and others
OSHAS
18001
Health & Safety
Occupational Health & Safety Management

OSHAS 18001 certifies that our safety management systems meet international standards — covering risk assessment, incident reporting, emergency preparedness, and ongoing safety training across all five plants.

Why it matters to buyers
Eliminates risk of sourcing from unsafe factories
Required for public sector & institutional buyers
Demonstrates proactive safety culture

500+ Artisans,
One Community

Moradabad has been a centre of metal craft for over 400 years. Our artisans are not factory workers — they are craftspeople carrying forward a living tradition. We take our responsibility to them seriously.

Beyond certification, we run internal skill-development programmes, provide health benefits, and maintain open-door management practices that give every worker a voice in how we operate.
